komodo dragon? No, I’m fostering a burmese ball python named Butters and a savannah moniter
but yeah moniters and komodos pshhh same thing
ok so I’ve set up a habitat in the empty room made especially for all my herps. Pongo (baby bearded dragon I’m fostering) likes the corner in the room but he gets caged at night so he won’t get into trouble. And I set up Jojo’s habitat for when he moves in next week, and he’ll have a grand time hanging out with the turtles.
and I really really want to foster this beautiful homeless Macaw named Tiki who is with the rescue program in NC. She was seriously abused by her previous owner and has self destructive habits like pulling out all her feathers and clawing herself and needs a foster parents to help train and tame her so she can be ready for a forever home. So I figured since I’m already running a sitting and fostering home that i can take her on this summer for about two months and care for her so she can be ready for her permanent home.
And then of course I’m so excited to welcome Jojo (the ornate uromastyx) and his bonded partner (“girlfriend”) Pharaoh to the foster family. They just are inseparable and the most precious things.
all of my babies are so cute and I’m so glad the new house is big enough and gives everyone enough room and play and move about.
